We always have our celebratory dinners at Marcel's, because we can anticipate excellent food, service and ambience. And best of all, you can hear yourself talk because it's a quiet but lively place to dine. We enjoy selecting from the four, five or six course menu, and this time we chose five courses. We had mussels (my husband said the best he'd ever had), halibut with a yummy sauce, duck breast, lamb three ways, foils gras and finally peach clafoutis. I don't know how they do it, but our meal was paced beautifully and service was impeccable without being stuffy. We truly felt pampered. We accompanied our courses with a Pinot noir (which I returned to have further chilled, with no complaint from our waiter) and a Sauvignon blanc, both delicious. They even personalized our menu, and the chef will sign it, if you want. We will be back.
