Absolutely loved it. The service was amazing and the food superb. I went there by myself as I am traveling on business. The seating at the bar was very comfortable.

A friend raved, and I was dubious. So glad I went. Incredible food! You must try the crunchy spinach and the chicken tikka masala. Rasika was the highlight of my trip.

We love good Indian food and enjoyed Rasika for the most part. The andhra chicken curry was tender and delicious with very large chunks of chicken, but the lamb biryani was dry. The naan is excellent. We had two cauliflower sides--I would avoid the deep fried version, but the fresh one was flavorful and addicting. Some things are best left authentic--the sweet potato samosas were too sweet and dry and the sauce was thick and cloying. Service was very good, especially considering how busy they were.

Arrived at lunchtime at the Marriott Georgetown and noticed this restaurant as we drove past. It was gone 1.30 when we got to the restaurant and we were seated straight away. was expecting the usual sad Indian lunch buffet but the food was cooked to order and truly excellent.

Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani and a cauliflower and pea curry were washed down with cold Kingfisher beer.

Well worth a visit. Only thing i would question was the popadums which felt like small snacks out of a bag from the grocery store but could be wrong.

Either way. go here. Didn't read the other reviews until i got home

Innovative and unconventional are the two words that come to mind in thinking about the flavors and presentation of cuisine at Rasika West End. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it was so cold in the restaurant, it was difficult for the meal to flower, for the scents and sauces to open up in full array.
