Simply the best French style bakery I found in a long time. Macaroons are luscious. Tart was great. Love it.

Jam 19,2017 during preparation for inauguration we stopped in for a pastry and coffee. I had the elephant ear and it was crispy and yet not dry and the perfect sweetness! My DH had the almond chocolate croissant and it was creamy and sweet. Both pastries were the best of kind we have ever enjoyed. The the regular coffee was dark and delicious with not a hint of bitterness. Highly recommend for taste and the price a bargain at only $11.66 for two pastries and 2 really big-sized regular coffees.

Stopped in early on a Sunday morning to grab food for a long train ride. Both gals behind the counter were funny and kind and helpful. $25 worth of pastries and sandwiches fed two of us all the way back to NC, happily.

Friendly staff, superb coffee and omelettes - felt like we'd been on a little side trip to Paris as the cafe has a very "euro feel" to it.

Artisan bread sandwiches and French pastry dessert described this place for me. Right across the street from the National Archives, so expect it to be a bit pricey. Great bred though, with good sandwiches. Free Wi-Fi is nice. Interesting interior. Quiet enough to talk if you want. I thought the breads were the best thing about it, really good with great finish.
