We come in late December of each year and stay in Golden Vista Resort where our home faces to the northeast with a wonderful view of these gorious mountains. We look out at them all day and can see the cacti on the mountains when they are green. We love to watch for the time each evening when we can see the mountain turn red for a few minutes as the sun begins to set. We have enjoyed this mountain range during the winter season for the last nine years.

We enjoyed the beauty of the Superstition Mountains while journeying on the Apache Trail. We took many photos to capture this memorable scenery.

The Superstition stand out from the nearby area.A trip there is to visit a real wilderness and experience what the Dutchman went through. A chance to dream what others have of finding the mine. A great adventure for all ages.

Just past Apache Junction. Dirt hard packed road into the mountains. But it can be a wash out in heavy rain. Lots of hiking trails. Bring water.
