We were attracted by an unusual atmosphere of the restaurant and by a friendly man, who was chatting with us and calling for a dinner. It is really beautiful inside - the interior is mostly blue combined with gold. We decided to accommodate in the hostal, which is situated in the same building and to try something in the restaurant. The prices were surprisingly high, as we have eaten in much cheaper places in Trinidad. We decided to try out chicken, mine was supposed to be in the pineapple sauce. I asked for fried platanos, which are normally served with every Cuban meal. My friend asked for potatoes, but he was served rice. This was the oldest and toughest chicken we have ever tried. My "sauce" was just chopped pineapple. I could only eat a small piece of it, my friend tried to eat, but he didn't succeed. We refused from the meal and we had to go to another place for a dinner. We were charged for everything at the full price, even for bread and platanos. Better stay away from this place!
