We had the great pleasure of having Grant as our guide to lovely Waiheke! Despite the rain, we were brought to several places starting from an olive grove where we had the opportunity to taste the local oliveoil and the amazing 'waiheke weed' (pesto-like herb spread). After that we visited 3 lovely wineries. Grant went out of his way to bring us to see onetangi beach during the tour as well! Unfortunately we couldn't stay for lunch but will definitely come back for more next time! Highly recommended if you are looking for a personal tour of waiheke by a local guide who obviously knows his stuff and loves waiheke a lot ;) thanks Grant! Irene and Matt
Thanks Guys! Glad to be part of your amazing adventure! Tongariro crossing in the snow? Crazy. Life happens to most people but then some people happen to life and you guys are the latter. I am sure the beautiful wines you bought helped you along the way. Thank you for your generosity. It was really a pleasure meeting you. Cheers, Grant
Can’t recommend Waivino Tours enough! We went on the degustation tour and were treated to spectacular weather, high quality wines and a fabulous lunch. Grant was a perfect host with so much passion and knowledge of the island and wineries. The tour was excellent value for money and the whole day was so relaxing and fun. I highly recommend checking out both Waiheke Island and Waivino Tours!
Thank you very much Kristelle. It was lovely having you all on the island. Hope to see you again. Cheers, Grant
My husband and I were absolutely amazed by our host, Grant. He told us all about what makes Waiheke so special and beautiful. We stopped at several scenic views between vineyards and had a delicious lunch. We will be back to Waiheke Island and definitely want to go on another tour. If you plan on visiting Waiheke Island this tour needs to be on your list of things to do!!
Thank you so much Alanna. It is so nice to share the beauty with kind hearted open minded people. Cheers, Grant
