A group of us stayed at Be. In 2 bedroom apartments. Very comfortable but bedrooms are up a flight of stairs.

The second bathroom is quite small but adequate for a single person.

Location is OK with the seafood restaurants a 5 min walk away on the boardwalk.

The main restaurants in Freo are about 15 - 20 min walk across the park.

Nowhere to find breakfast nearby. No supermarkets nearby either.

Stayed in Room 306 on the 3rd floor, for 2 nights. Welcoming and friendly reception staff started off our Fremantle experience. Undercover secure parking with a lift to our room made luggage movement easy. The room was bright, modern and spacious. Set out like a Studio but with the added benefit of a full kitchen (cooking facilities, dishwasher and clothes washing machine/drier). Enormous modern bathroom. The balcony overlooked the marina and was completely private although rather narrow, but adequate for evening drinks watching the boats pass by and rock fishermen.
Loved everything about Fremantle. Walked to nearby cafes for delicious seafood and took a Captain Cook Cruise up the Swan River to Perth and back. Fremantle boasts many gorgeous stone buildings and interesting architecture with two free buses covering different circular routes.

Room Tip: Third floor meant privacy

Be is located at the end of the road right on the waters edge. We had hoped for a room facing the marina to take in the sunset so suggest you request this when booking. That said we had a lovely view of Freo’s fishing village but no sunsets.
It’s a pretty short walk everything so good location.
The 2 bedroom unit had most things you’d expect however a little on the tired side, kitchen cupboards didn’t close properly, scuff marks on some walls.
All in all it was fine for our needs.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone with family. We booked two bedroom and it was clean and spacious. Kitchen and living area is very functional and had washer and dryer. There are BBQs that you can use as well. The location is excellent as you can walk to many restaurants and parks. I highly recommend to rent bikes to ride around the town. I have been there three times over last 10 years and even with the ownership change, I really like this place. I would go back there if I am ever in Perth/Fremantle area again.

We stayed at Be Fremantle for 6 nights in the new section of the complex. This is our third visit to Freo and Be.
Our room 207 has the view of the ocean and boat harbour. The facilities are quite good and close to all the restaurants and bars eg. Little Creatures, Bathers Pavilion....
