Great old limestone cottage in Fremantle. Completely self contained and everything we needed provided. Wonderful welcome from our hosts who showed us around. Would highly recommend.
Stayed 4 nights, in this lovely old family home.
The location was great, 10mins stroll to free city bus which takes you to the top locations in Fremantle, so no need to use your car.
Lovely period furniture, all amenities you could wish for, a home away from home.
The bed was so comfortable.
Rina and Gabriel were wonderful hosts, very helpful, even helped unload our luggage from the car.
Would stay again if ever in Fremantle.
The classic Australian home with lots of character - high ceilings, large fireplace, but with all the modern conveniences. Great location - walking distance to excellent Fremantle restaurants. Beaches are only a short drive. Rina and Gabriele have "green thumbs" and have beautiful flowers, ferns, and cacti of all kinds. A grape vine produces grapes that Gabriele uses to make wine. They are fantastic!! Very caring and friendly. I highly recommend both the home and Rina and Gabriele.
This place couldn't have been better. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The house had everything one could possibly need, from bathroom to intricate kitchen supplies. The house was immaculate and the beds were super plush! The bedrooms are actually quite big and luxurious. I would rate this far better than a hotel stay. The outdoor area reflects a tropical garden with lots of birds coming to visit, and you can have brekkie on the balcony too. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Rina for making us feel so welcome and for catering to our needs. We'll be back!
Gabriel and Rina were the best hosts ever and very warm people. They take great pride in their family vacation home and it is as comfortable as can be imagined. It is also a lovely Fremantle "heritage house". We arrived to an immaculately clean place equipped with just about anything a traveler would ever need or want, in addition to a bouquet of roses, a bottle of wine, snacks, and a generous supply of breakfast foods. The tropically-adorned porches provided lots of space to relax. The Lorakeets and "laughing" ravens were delightful to listen to. We really didn't want to leave when the time came. There is a good Indian restaurant a few blocks away and the house is within walking distance of downtown Fremantle...with and shops, restaurants, markets, and coffee shops. The neighborhood is mostly quiet.
