We had looked at this site on line about a month before we started our two week tour around Europe. Having started in Dunkirk then through Epernay, Baden Baden and Lake Schluchsee, we only emailed a booking request the day before arrival.
Having mailed, we got an immediate response which is always welcomed when you are on the road. We duly arrived mid afternoon during their closed period but were met by Barry from Manchester who worked there and he showed us where to go and helped us get set up - thanks again Barry.
The scenery is simply to die for - whilst the snow had recently melted at campsite level you could see it on the mountain tops all around and together with the waterfalls - we’ll just stunning.
The place caters for everyone and has everything you could want from kitchen, dog wash room, drying rooms, tv room, bar, restaurant, cash machine, shop with daily fresh bread, thrill/activity booking centre and run from probably one of the most helpful multi lingual receptions I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Oh - and by the way (not that you would) but you could eat your dinner off the floor of the shower/toilet/washroom/kitchen block - spotless !!
There is a bus service direct from the reception to the centre of Lauterbrunnen by train station which takes either further up the valley or back to Interlaken. Opposite the train station is the cable car to Mürren and Schilthorn or the train up to Kleine Scheidegg. Whilst the bus is great, to be fair it is only a five minute walk.
Camping Jungfrau is the centre for all the activities you could wish for. You can also book and pay for everything from reception too.
We had a great three days and will definitely be back - thanks guys for some fantastic memories.

The people are very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, our Cabin already had our name on it ! Very neat Cabin and although the temperatures were -2 to -12, the Cabin was nice and warm. The snow was a big bonus and the Cabin stay made it so much more special!!

Food in the restaurant was excellent. A great little town and I recommend it and the camping resort to everyone. The Resort also had its own place where you can ski.

Room Tip: Cabins are great and although we were four people, it can sleep six people. Excellent size for four people.

Have been going to the Lauterbrunnen for 25 years; the restaurant at Camp Jungfrau never fails to deliver. The restaurant ambiance is perfect, the waitress is always nice, and the food is superb. My wife and I would go out to dinner at camping Jungfrau over any other restaurant in the valley. The camping facilities at this place are world-class; they go overboard making the grounds sparkling clean. No trip to Lauterbrunnen is complete without one meal and couple of beers at this restaurant.

Room Tip: Get a spot near the river and don't throw left-over coffee in the flowers--a big "No-No"...trust me!

We took a cottage with 6 beds for a family of 4 here. The place is about 20minute walk from the lauterbrunnen train station. In the mornings it is ok buy when u come back after a hectic day you yearn for a free pickup from the hotel. Apart from that the cottage was warm and cozy. The hotel runs next to a flowing steam and the sounds are amazing. It is also next to a great waterfall and sights are amazing. We loved it.
