We had a tough day cycling and finally pulled into the Axis. Staff were very helpful in getting our bicycles sorted out. Room was modern, clean, large and comfortable. The dining room was in a seperate building and we hiked over there at dusk. The hotel is a little out of the way. Had a great meal. The server had an English accent and was very efficient and also very funny. He had to be, because the guests next to us all had long faces and nothing could make them happy. But he motored on and continued to give great service. Read some fuss about room safes at the hotel. We didn't need a safe, because pilgrims travel light. Anyway, hotel safes in rooms are supposedly unreliable.

The room is ok. no room safe. no privacy sign for door. dinner very average in nice setting.

arrived early and was told that checkin wasn’t until 2pm. Was told that “those are the rules” when we asked if there were rooms available. We encouraged the front desk to ask the manager about early access as we had cycled 20+ miles and needed to shower. eventually that said yes.

all in all, below average hotel and experience.

Very nice hotel, modern and very clean room, good mattress and pillows. Good bathroom. Loved the blind system, totally dark or half shade. About the breakfast: Horrible orange juice, but the rest very good, specially the homemade sponge cakes.

Very challenging golf course, unforgetable. We will be back.

The hotel is a standard hotel with nothing special. Standard rooms with an uncomfortable shower. However each room comes with a nice balcony and it offers a swimming pool. The restaurant is okay. Not sure what else to write.

In room, A/C works but no cooler air, it was hidden in "closet".. Even in the rooms hall don´t have a A/C unit. On my check-out, even in front desk was really hot!
Breakfast, not really special for 4* and Golf resort, could do way much better. Not much friendly personnel, only if you complain.
Really good view, relaxing and even nice for walks, with wide parking but could get really busy during peak- hours, from Golf and even Gym.

Room tip: Try getting rooms with front view of Golf course.
