Lovely hotel right on the river. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room with balcony and good shower, which we appreciated while walking the Camino. Excellent breakfast included in stay. Good, free wi-fi.
We arrived after walking from Viana do Castelo, tired and hot, and were able to relax out the front of the hotel with an icy cold beer before going to a well maintained, quiet room overlooking the river. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly, and we ended up staying an extra night, to enjoy wandering around this delightful little town. I would stay there again without hesitation.
Wonderful hotel and staff in such a beautiful small town. Hotel overlooks river and is 5 minute walk to city center restaurants and shopping. Free breakfast buffets had fantastic pastries and spread of fruits, cheese, and ham. Can’t say enough about this hotel as we extended our stay due to our enjoyment of the property, staff, and town.
Lovely setting right on the river although the hotel itself is not the most attractive of buildings externally.
Fairly large hotel and has a business/corporate feel, a bit strange in comparison to the other places we stayed on the Camino.
However in fairness the staff on the front desk were very pleasant and the rooms were of a decent size and comfortable.
Good buffet breakfast was a good start to another day of walking.

This hotel has been recently renovated and offers a lot for a low price. The location is right in front of the river and it is only 5 minutes to walk into the city center. Also the parking lot is restricted and thus safe.
Classic if somewhat "time warped" hotel in a great location in a beautiful historic town.
Can't fault it though - exceptionally friendly and helpful staff nice location near the "arch tree thingy" and minutes from the quaint centre
The rate was one of the cheapest I paid on this trip and was great value
I'd have no issue with staying here again
