The hotel was set back from the main area adjacent to farming areas and a small lake. The service was personal and meals very good. The rooms were large, although the bathrooms were a little small with interesting choice of tap ware, but quite functional. The curtains could have been thicker as the sun comes up a early in summer.

A lovely little country hotel. It is small with I guess about a dozen rooms. It is 3.5km from Sigulda so only suitable by car or in our case a group bike tour. Being out of town it is quiet with pleasant country views and a relaxed feel. The rooms are of a good size, a large children's play area, and a downstairs bar, lounge area and patio. The dinner was good and breakfast the normal fare. The staff were very friendly and would wash and dry a load of washing for 7 euro which was much appreciated in the middle of a cycling trip. The only complaint was that the curtains are a light mesh and do not block the light.

They have a sauna house with a sauna that can fit 4 to 6 people, a cold water plunge pool, and relaxation room. You need to call or email ahead to book it, it costs 25 euro and hour but you can have group of people.

This hotel is a little difficult to find even with a GPS so ask for directions at the Tourist Information
Had to walk up 2 flights of stairs and no help with baggage. No Hair dryer but reception sent one up very quickly.
Our room was very large with a balcony.Very clean but no aircon and it was a hot day Very Quiet with lovely view of the lake..
The hotel is a long way from town but that's ok if you have a car.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Dinner is available and is simple but very good.

We stayed with our family ( our son becomes already hotelier from early childhood:)), room was small, but view was compensating. TV programs choice very limited and restaurant did not work. Very nice corner for kids to play inside & some attractions also outside the hotel. We enjoyed breakfast what was small, but freshly prepared buffet style, much better than a la carte if few guests are in the hotel. Fantastic view to valley from the breakfast terrace, nice atmosphere in lobby area.

Room Tip: Standard room was good enough, there is also suite with fireplace in the room.
