Stayed at Neiburgs when spending a long weekend in Riga. Location was very good, close to many of the bars, restaurants and sights in the old town. Rooms were spacious and well appointed with a kitchen area and a very comfortable bed.
We used the sauna and steam room which we booked and had private use of, which was a good addition to our stay.
Breakfast was also good. A varied selection of hot and cold items that were all delicious.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to go to Riga

I stay for one night in Riga, and was pleasantly surprised – very helpful staff, big, clean and very well equipped hotel and nice room, perfect quiet location in old town.
Staff offered to visit free saunas (steam and standard) and it was really worth after windy Riga's weather and long trip by car. Not forget to have breakfast in the morning - wide selection of good quality and tasty fresh food (salted salmon, crepes, fresh juise and capucino:)). In the evening we tried hotel restaurant and it was on of the best I had in Riga.

My wife and I have been patrons of the Neiburgs restaurant for a couple of years, and, in our opinion, this is the best restaurant in Riga: innovative, excellent and of great value, especially compared to Western Europe and the USA. This was our first stay in the hotel. We were set up in a corner room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of snow-covered roofs and the Dom (cathedral). The room was very big, with old moldings on the ceiling, old parquet and a mix of Art Nouveau decor and newer furnitures. There was also a kitchenette. The bathroom was big and all amenities were provided. The service at the hotel was on par with that of the restaurant, simply superb. Altogether, this was a hotel with a distinctive flair that changes from the typical hotel room... A must go if you like quality, class and service...

Room Tip: request a corner room on an upper floor for a great view

The staff here were super lovely and made my partner's bday so special with a suite upgrade and a surprise bottle of sparkling and fruit in our room! It was great to have the sauna and steam room to ourselves (although the clock was broken, so we weren't quite ready when the next couple arrived). The restaurant served a great dinner and breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Well worth the investment for a night of luxury!

Just because it is fun to explore, I often try different hotels when in Riga on business. But, I keep coming back to Neiburgs Hotel. It is simply the best hotel in Riga, with a very good restaurant as a bonus. My only small complaint for this trip was my laundry came back one day with a very strong smell of laundry detergent. Did not happen the second time. Such a small complaint will not keep me from returning.

Room Tip: As with all hotels in Old Riga, if you need extreme quiet while sleeping ask for room in back away from street. Old Riga noisy in summer.
