We made our booking reservation through Trivakgo booking system for 3 days (2 nights).
1) There was written that we have spa access during our stay. We arrived in the evening and at reception we were announced that we have only 2 TIMES (1 visit per Day) visit to the spa and only until 6pm. We had booked spa procedures for our arrival night and some for the next day - this meant that we already were NOT able to use the spa area at least for 1 visit. When we made reservations for spa procedurea we thought that we could visit spa area, go to procedure and go back to spa (as it is possible in other spas normally!), but this is not the case with Jurmala Spa! Also we did not have many options to change our spa procedures times as there were not a lot of free times.
2) Spa area. It is cold in the swimming pool area. Alltought the water should be 28 and 31 degrees, it deffinatelt felt colder. Even the hot tub was not hot. Theres was no free drinking water in the spa and sauna area. Also no showers in sauna area.
3) Spa procedures, dinner and bar. You have to carry your wallet with tou during your stay as when you have procedures or go to dinner or bar at the hotel, you have to pay, they do not put the charge on your room.
4) We had standard rooms. no bathrobes included, had to ask separately.
5) Breakfast and bufee dinner food choice at hotel was very good. especially Tiramisu at dinner which was fabulous.
6) Room was in overall good and clean, in 428 rooms bathroom the tap is rusty and full of limescale - should be changed.
7) Stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Had a late flight in, arrived at 1am, the two receptionist made me wait 30 minutes so they could count money before checking me in.
Hotel rooms have issue with air con, my room smelt of stale cigarettes. Air con is noisy on and the room is airless without.
Hotel has upgraded spa. Which is great and if they could sort out the rooms this place would be good value for money.

Very good hotel location. Clean and good level SPA. BUT staff, this is a total fault!
The most unpleasant staff at the SPA (pool receptions and salt caves), also in the sky bar.
Elementary "good morning" for all hotel staff, mission impossible...
Greatly overvalued hotel and if the owners do not change the attitude of the staff to the client, they will have difficult times to wait.

Good hotel with extra - SPA... Had unforgettable time with wife there - SPA, dinner, relax, breakfast... Great plan how to visit Jurmala for one night with extra time fro SPA. Also great go outside the hotel just to walk to beach or shop street with many places to eat...

The hotel in itself is ok, modern and clean. Value for money and good located. But it is a shame that the staff at the reception hardly speaks english and are not serviceminded at all. But that goes for most of the people we met in Riga.
The breakfast was unfortunately an disappointment for this 4 star hotel. They should at least have some tasty nice bread, granola, greek yoghurt and some tasty spreads. At least make an effort. The only thing that was good at breakfast was the boiled eggs and pancakes.
