I have been through Vilnius 7 or 8 times. This is my favorite place to stay. It is not a five star hotel. It's a nicely redone convent. However, by Vilnius standards, it's a total bargain. The hallways and rooms are very clean, well kept and airy (although not air conditioned). Other reviews have already commented on the wonderful location - right around the back of one of the oldest cathedrals in the city, and 50 metres from the famous 'Gates of Dawn' (hence, also wonderfully quiet). The staff is invariably helpful and generally speaks quite adequate English. Also the breakfast has great variety and is held in a very pleasant old wood trimmed dining hall. One recommendation - if you are taking a taxi and you don't mind pulling your luggage about 50 metres, have them drop you at the top of Old Town, just outside the gates. Otherwise, the taxi will have to drive an extra 5 km. or so and fight its way through the tourists on Pilies Gatve to get to the Domus. That may be a $15 difference.

Room Tip: To avoid disappointment, don't leave booking until the last minute. Rooms may be available, but in high season, summer, it could get dicey.

Have just stayed 2 nights here and found it an ok guest house.
We had a deluxe room which included a lounge, separate bedroom & unsuite. The room was not large but adequate. Quite basic furniture but ok. In the bedroom a kettle & 2 cups were provided but no condiments, strange?
Looking into other rooms as they were being cleaned a standard / basic room
looked quite small.
Breakfast was very good, a wide selection of cereal, yoghurts, breads, meats & cheeses, coffee & teas.
Location is just inside the wall though not easy sign posted. The old town and many churches are all within walking distance. There are quite a few restaurants near by. We found the restaurant chain Cili was a good budget restaurant offering a very good selection of pizza, pasta meals at a very good price.
Overall a nice place to stay to explore Vilnus.

I think this hotel has the best location in Vilnius - it's right in the central old town. It's easy to reach all popural cafes, pubs, clubs, places of interest in Vilnius. And honestly, most of those are located in old town. So, as i say perfect value for money! Rooms are not fancy, but everything is clean, new furniture, showers - would say very simple, but still really good. Hotel is in a former building of monestry, surrounded by churches so in the morning you could wake up from the sound of bells. Top floor rooms have pitched ceilings. Breakfast has big variety- everyone will find what to eat. Travellers with cars can easily park in the inner yard so would save money for parking on the street. Just in summer time would be good to book a parking space before arriving.

Great location, right in the old town. Very helpful reception desk. The rooms are simple, the bed is rather small but it was clean and I would not expect luxury at tis price range. The only issue was that I it was a bit cold. However I think it is a very good choice for someone who is looking for very good price in a very good location.

Right in the old town, in a converted monastery. Very atmospheric spot! Spotless and quiet rooms, and such good value. Friendly English speaking staff, and a great breakfast. Even has a lovely reading room. Close to a supermarket, and the train station. This would be my first choice if I were to go back to Vilnius.
