We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in October 2018, and had a great experience. The hotel staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice (or at least, ours was) and uniquely decorated. All rooms are named after writers, and do not have numbers, which adds to the unique nature of the hotel.

The dinner in the bar is really nice, but the breakfast is plainly FANTASTIC: a very nice a la carte menu with local, mainland European English breakfast items. All dishes prepared to perfection.

Really nice stay!

I took a small room but I was alone so no problem. Big enough and toilet in good and clean conditions. Was given the room of a writter (do not remember the name) and was old but nice. Did not have breakfast but dinner yes. Very good. Walking distance from everything and good parking (free)

Excellent service, went above and beyond on regular basis. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had, it is made to order everything is fresh – no buffet at The Shakespeare. Location is great very close to the walking street and Main Square. Highly recommend and would stay only stay at the Shakespeare on my next visit to Vilnius.

Great breakfast, overall nice atmosphere , hidden old building but the room itself was shappy, worn, ugly and small. No view to any place. Windows so high that one could only see the Sky. Bathroom really unpractical. Shower only possible sitting down in the bathtub. And most of the room one could not walk straigh due the low cealing..

Beautiful place, very good location, a short walk down the street and you were in the old town. It had a very personal and nice touch. Very good breakfast and service. Good option for a journey stay in Vilnius!
