The rooms in this guesthouse have been very nicely renovated in recent times. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful but do not provide a 24 hr reception as with a lot of guesthouses. Location is reasonable, a 10 min walk into town or 20 min walk to the ferry terminal. The external facade is a little worn out, not quite as nice as portrayed in the wbsite picture. Our room did not have TV, air-conditioning or a refrigerator.

Short 2-day stay. Had ensuite room on third floor (no lift) with nice window view. All the reviews highlighting the location are spot on. Train, bus, ferry to the spit, restaurants (lots of good ones) and a supermarket are within a 15-minute walk. Super clean, bright and nicely furnished. However, there were a couple glitches caused by reception: (1) Finding the place to drop our laundry took 2 hours of walking around because reception gave us an incorrect location name. (2) The 7 am taxi ordered by reception never arrived so we had no choice but to walk in a hurry to the bus station!
The Curonian Spit is of course the thing to do. We learned from our research that most of the sites and things to do can be “self-guided.” Take the 30 cents 5-minute ferry ride (15 minute walk from the guest house) to Smiltyne on the spit and immediately transfer to the awaiting bus and enjoy a 30 minute scenic ride to Nida – a super bargain 3.3 euros. From the bus stop cross the street, visit the very helpful Tourist Information Center, get maps and instructions, and you can visit the town, harbor, the dunes, the park and then zip over to the Baltic Sea all on foot. Somewhere along the line go to the supermarket next to the Information Center and pick up fixins for top of the dune or beach side picnic. It’s a good full day trip and you’ve totally maximized your time and it’s been light on your pocketbook

Room Tip: upper floor en suite overlooking the street

A perfect location for a short or long stay! Really very cozy and quiet place in the city center. Near the old town. Litinterp guesthouse had everything we needed- the room had a mini dining area with a kettle, cups, plates and even tea with coffee. Separate entrances, interesting interior inside. An original breakfast is provided at the right time. Everything was really good!

We had a stay at this Guest House licated in hustoric building during the Sea Festival in Klaipeda. For 80 € we had very spacious room for 4 with our own WC and shower. There is a parking place in the courtyard where for 6€/24 hours you can leave your car. This place is loved by foreigners. I love it too. Clean and reasonaly priced. No fridge. Breakfast additional €3 and you should order them in advance. My photos are from WC.

Great guest house, the staff are very friendly, rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, a small kitchenette with enough to cook a meal, table to sit around and eat at, larger than usual fridge, spacious bathroom, the breakfast basket is cute with all that you need. Just a short walk to the old town. Definitely worth a visit
