This is a unique museum with a lot of different devils inside.

The whole building is quite old but it is not disturbing at all. If you are a reader, be ready to spend there a few hours for sure. Every paper has an old story about a devil itself, either about the things that people believed in the past. It is extremely interesting.

Worth seeing at least once :)

If you plan on visiting the Devil's Museum around the time this review is posted, be warned there is A LOT of work going on in this part of Kaunas.

In many places, including outside this museum, there are no pavements, just pathways covered in rock and sand with paving stones piled up ready to be put down. So navigating the uneven surface, and the occasional workman laying the pavement, can make walking around here an interesting experience.

The building of this museum is quite ugly, something out of the 1960s, and while quirky I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here again. The exhibit on the top floor, showing devil statues from all over the world, was very interesting, but this is as exciting as it got for me.

There are far better places in Kaunas to visit which are ranked lower than this.

Almost 15 minutes walking from the city centre, this museum is nice, something unusual. It's in a 3 floors building, well kept, nice to see all the 3 floor exposition. The ticket is cheap, 3 Euros. Many pieces, a nice stay for more than an hour. To visit!!!

We wanted to visit this museum on our trip to Lithuania because it just seemed so unusual. We had a guide take us through the museum, which really helped put what we were seeing into perspective. The most striking object for me was the carving of Hitler and Stalin fighting over the ashes of Lithuania, a commentary on the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and the ensuing multiple invasions of Lithuania by the Soviet Union and the Nazis. The museum is three floors but relatively small, so you can definitely get through it in about an hour or so, depending on how captivated you are by the devils. It's definitely worth the visit.

The museum is essentially an art gallery that consists of one man’s extensive collection of sculptures, ceramics, masks and other art forms depicting the devil. It is beautifully displayed with excellent lighting. Some beautiful pieces, some amusing, a good variety of media, size and style. The gallery is on three floors, with access via stairs. About a 20 minute walk from the inner edge of the old town.
