Ate here twice during different occations in Budapest.
The food is no fancy french mustard stuff. It's plain, simple, solid and very very good. Meet, potatoes, sauce and some vegetables.
This is a place where the Americans could go without complaining about the portions. For me it is far too much, but ask for a doggy bag and bring some to the hotel for late snacks.
The location is very off the tourist traps and maybe that's why the prices are quite reasonable and the food is good.
The interior is typical old Hungarian country side with lots of old wood and stuff. Nice and cosy and not overkill. Really the old kind of Hunarian diner if one could compare.
the only con is that the waiters do not understand English wery well.
