The food was realy good and well served and the beers were also really tasty. The atmosphere was also nice, with a piano playing on the background

We are returning customers of Vakvarju and had dinner for several times. Food is very good and service is quick. We like the atmosphere the funny decorations and the wording of the menu which gives the entire place a relaxed atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and food for the price. We came here twice in one week. Really enjoyed the food, drinks, and company. Very affordable as well. First time I had the local beer - very yummy, goulash - also good! and veal paprikash. Second time - bone marrow, tartarw and schnitzel with a piece of cheesecake. Very good!

My wife and I ate lunch here before flying home. It’s a traditional type of restaurant.Staff are efficient but not over friendly. The menu had a good choice. My wife had a goulash soup and I had a paprika veal. Both were very tasty and if you like meat I had plenty on my plate. The service charge is included but this is becoming more common so I’m now almost expecting it. I would recommend.

This is very much a fine dining style restaurant, beautiful building within, we sat within a raised section on a nice suede sofa. On a personal note I like the fact that they have a sanitiser within the cubicles for the toilet seat. The food was really good and worry of five starts, however….
It clearly states on the menu that a tip is clearly down to the discretion of the individual with regards to the amount they wish to give, upon getting the bill we noticed that they had added a tip, when challenged they stated that they add a trip because people don’t usually add tips, this was absolutely disgusting, what a shame as they would of gotten a larger tip and a five start rating, instead we got the tip refunded and gave it to a homeless person. If you don’t check your bill, you would tip on top of a bill with a tip already added. That is not on, if a meal is good and the service is good then its up to the customer to tip, not the establishment to take it upon themselves to add tips!
