Another stunning building in the old town, could spend an hour or two alone just wandering, viewing and sitting in the bastion. Local buskers and artists frequent the area but are interesting rather than a nuisance.

Amazing view, we visited during the day and night, the view was definitely worth it, there’s a coffee shop and souvenir shops where you can stop off. There are different levels so you can see the parliament from different heights but we didn’t have to pay to go to the top. You can also see chain bridge from here, we visited in November and the lights for the parliament and bridge came on about 5pm. Did get quite busy but plenty of time to get a good picture!

We spent a few hours around this area and Mathias Church. Fantastic views of beautiful Budapest and great photo ops. Well worth the walk up although there is the no 16 bus for €1 for the less inclined to be active

Right next to the stunning St. Mattyas Cathedral, this is a lovely vantage point of both Buda and Pest.

This is not a truly historic site as it is not that old, however it is undoubtedly beautiful and a must-see. There are many photo opportunities in the various towers and halls. No need to pay to go in certain towers as the free areas give just as good a view.
