Onyx definitely strive to impress. The restaurant is of a far end from being casual. The form prevails everywhere - while the main thing (taste) sometime leaves a lot be be desired. Amuse bouche was a small cream of brocolli soup with an extremely strong cabbage taste that did not combine at all with some fishy jelly in the bottom (I was told this was a crab one). Starter - lobster salad with tomoto variation - was again lacking taste in the main part - lobster itself (that was also too heavily salted on one side) while tomato variations were small nice things where the whole chef's effort was seamingly centered. My main course was rabbit variations - and here I have to admit it was absolutely deliciious. The desert - sponge cake 21st century (such a name!) was way too sweet that did not allow to open the taste. Overall, a mixed bad of results. Worth noting that portions are very small, value for money is a question mark. Beware this is one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) restaurants in Budapest
