This apartment has everything you will need and more for a great stay. The location in the Jewish quarter is great for accessing ruin and craft beer bars, cafes, and restaurants. There is a great street food area around the corner called Karavan where you can get pizza, vegan burgers and lots of other tasty, cheap food. You are right in the centre of the action but the apartment on the fourth floor is very quiet. Adam the host is a lovely man who is extremely helpful and really good at keeping in touch. Budapest is a lovely city easy to get round and don't forget to try one of the many thermal baths.
Spent a weekend in Adam's flat and would definitely return. The owner responded quickly to all communications and was very welcoming on our arrival despite a very delayed plane.
The flat is in an excellent location in the Jewish district. Lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep but quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. The building is Art Deco with some lovely tiling. The hall and stairs are fairly rough but don't be put off because the flat on the top floor is warm and welcoming. Flat equipped with everything you could need and wifi worked fast and well. Particularly liked having a small balcony. Only downside was a small bedroom but sofa bed in lounge worked well. Adam provided some maps and tourist leaflets which were useful.
Round the corner is Szimpla a renowned ruin bar, a sight not to be missed and just up from there was a great street food courtyard. We had a fab meal at M restaurant on Kertesz u.
Lots to see and do in Budapest and this flat is ideally placed in the centre. Have no hesitation in recommending.
