From outside the restaurant might look like any other tourist trap of Budapest, but please enter and you might find a nice atmosphere and great Italian food. We loved the kids’ corner with toys and the coloring set which kept the kids amused. In the meantime could mom and dad enjoy a bit of Italy for a reasonable price.
Yes, the kids went for lasagna and pizza, but we did have some of the main dishes such as medallion of mangaliza and the beef with mushrooms which were perfectly done. And yes, we did love the bit cheesy but still cool Italopop with “Felicità” and “Volare”...

Still, the highlight was actually the pistachio tiramisu. Creamy, round taste. Try it!

The ice cream was absolutely incredible. Very creamy consistency and full flavour. I ate coffee and tiramisu ice cream and it had a very genuine aroma. The tiramisu ice cream had quite a unique flavour (which was excellent), yet it still tasted like tiramisu (this testifies of high-quality ice cream to me). The service was very nice and patient with my order. When I come to Budapest next time, this will be a mandatory stop for me!

We went here for dinner a few nights ago and chose to sit inside, maybe that was the reason we were not attended to well? Even my husband’s fish was cold when it arrived.

Authentic Italian place in a wonderful area. Our waiter spoke much better Italian than Hungarian. We ate outside and loved every minute of it. Service can be slow, but no different than anywhere in Budapest.

Somebody knows how to cook italian with heart. Try the gnocchi with pesto and prawns or tagliatelle with funghi. Also lasagna was tasty. Kids friendly.
