We arrived in Warsaw late. I had emailed the staff to let them know this. I had a fast reply stating that this wouldn't be a problem and was given a cell number if there were any issues. When we arrived at 10:30 pm, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful, Marcin. We had room #4 on the top floor facing the street. We, unfortunately, visited on the hottest days of year. I didn't even think about checking for AC when I booked. However, there was a nice fan that served as a great air circulator and noise reducer. (It did stay fairly noisy late into the night)
The room was very clean and well stocked.

I would only make two suggestions...1) it would be nice if the bed was moved to the right so the person sleeping on the left side doesn't hit their head in the ceiling. 2) fix the bad creak in the bed

The location is great, the accomodations are wonderful. We highly recommend the Japanese suite. Although breakfast is extra, it was worth every zloty. Martin went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A great experience, we certainly recommend the Duval apartments.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the inner yard are quiet. The Japanese room clean and quiet

Fab experience, incredible, modern, clean and charming big room.

Room carefully maintained by the owner. I can say that details are what really make a difference. Tea, milk and bottled water prepared in the refrigerator. TV with many movies and dvd, internet without failures, a phone in the room to call him in case of any problem. Even the toilet paper was folded exquisitely!

Martin was very helpful to see Warsow, good recommendations and really funny!

The best hostel in my life, definitely. I want come back

We stayed in the traditionally furnished Chopin room. It was clean, spacious, beautifully appointed and good value.
It is a minute's walk from the old town square.
The patron is friendly and all the staff are helpful.

We arrived to find that the room we had reserved nine months earlier had been given to a couple the day before. When we made this comment on another website, the owner responded that he had given us this room because it was quieter. That was not the case, and we did not appreciate his inaccurate reply. That said, the room in which we stayed was very lovely, spacious, and quiet (just not the traditional Polish style we would have chosen). However, Martin did go out of his way to make up for the error in the best way he could, and we did appreciate that! The bathroom was luxurious with with a wonderful shower. The location was ideal! Other than being the style we would not have chosen (contemporary Japanese) the only other problem with this particular room was that it did not have adequate curtains to keep out the bright morning light, even with both the curtains and blinds pulled. That combined, with the fact that the weather has been unusually warm and our room was too warm for our liking to sleep well , made for not the best night's sleep. In spite of these issues, we would still highly recommend this hotel to others.
