Owner description: After being leveled when the Nazis left, this whole neighborhood of cobblestone Gothic streets and alleyways, baroque palaces, numerous churches and tiered burghers' houses were masterfully reconstructed to reflect the atmosphere of bygone days.

This old town area has been renovated to its original condition and holds a lot of Polish history. You can still see part of the original city walls. There are lots of people, restaurants, coffee shops and things to explore. It is a worthy place for taking pictures and trying various foods famous to Poland. Local people are selling original art pieces. There is the Warsaw Museum which gives you a deep history of the area. You can walk around the quickly as it is quite small but it really feels like an old eastern European town.

Old town is really new town. It is for tourists but nice to visit. Just don't expect much.We had a good time just walking around but nothing spectacular.

Loved this beautifully rebuilt area as pretty much the city was destroyed during the war. We saw where the executioner lived and shopped for amber and flint jewellry. Also stopped and had a drink at a bar with outside seating

It's hard to believe the whole of the old town was destroyed during world war 2. The town was remodelled with wonderful attention to detail. It is simply stunning. Well worth a visit.
