We did not expect Toruń to have such a rich offer when it comes to restaurants and cafes. First, we visited coffee and whiskey and then hit Monka.
Let's start with saying a few words about the building in which Monka is based. It's a beautifully renovated granary with very modern, industrial interior that preserves and highlights the old ornaments of that impressive building.
The food they serve is exquisite. We took golabki with duck meat wrapped in cabbage, pyza with beef cheeks and pickles and steamed cod with vegetables. All delicious! The place itself is atmospheric, the stuff very kind and professional and the prices surpringly nice given the quality of food and service. I truly recommend it!
