This spa and resort is very large, and caters to those who ski in the winter, but the area has year round things to see and do, so it was worth the visit in August. They get a lot of snow here, and we were told the city is mobbed in the winter. I never knew that Poland has mountains. Great place to visit

Room tip: There are so many buildings all with views of the mountains

This place is huge and for me it couldn't quite decide what it is supposed to be. Part hotel, part spa and part conference centre it seemed to be trying all 3 but failing in some. It's like 3 separate hotels bolted together and linked by an aerial walkway. The hotel is good. Nice clean good sized rooms equipped with robes and a hair dryer. No shaver sockets and a lack of the usual soaps and shampoos etc. Just an all encompassing soap dispenser. The rooftop lounge bar is a bit disappointing with loud music. The scenic panoramic view bar was closed and without furniture so I guess nobody was going there. The spa is o.k. but the swimming pool is way too small. The photos on the website are a little deceiving. It's a family hotel so not surprisingly there are a lot of families with children, so if you like a quiet swim or if you wanted to do 20 lengths before lunch forget about it. The gym is at the other end of the complex and at least a 10 minute walk if you're in the new wing of the hotel. It is good though and has good quality equipment. We only had breakfasts there and judging by that the food is good. A large selection of cooked or cold food to choose from, a vast selection of juices and the coffee is good. Overall it's a nice place to stay, staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and public areas are clean and tidy. Its ideally located for walks in the mountains and you can hire bikes if you prefer. My overall view though is that it is a family hotel with a few things added. If you want a quiet weekend of being pampered in calm surroundings you may be disappointed.

Room tip: I think most rooms will have a similar view, car parks with mountains in the background.

Everything was perfectly fine apart from holes in my bed sheets and dirty curtains covered with either blood or someone’s spilled wine.

Dinners were irritating. As soon as I went to get dessert (left my drink at the table of course this was also cleared and thrown away) staff would sit new guests at our table ....this became extremely irritating... SAME SITUATION EVERYDAY FOR A WEEK

This Hotel is excellent. We were two couples and both rooms were lovely. Our room had a view of the mountains and you can imagine when I woke up in the morning and saw sunrise . It was breathtaking. Breakfast was super even dinner because we were on halfboard basis there. The only draw back we had was that it was about 30 mins by bus from the centre but any way we had a wonderful time there too. The hotel has a pool too and it is a resort so there is were to have some fun. I would certainly recommend it. Staff were friendly aside about two who were in the restaurant and looking a bit bored and stiff but mainly all were fine especially a waiter called Nasim who was very nice and friendly with us. Even at the reception , all were nice too! Any way I would like to go back again some day. Thank you staff!!

The hotel complex was impressive with its multiple, multistoried modern buildings. It was located in the countryside across from a ski slope and a good distance from Zakopane. We were here for a 1 night stay with Insight Vacations in early June. Our rooms were in one building and the restaurant for the evening group dinner with Highlanders' Entertainment was in another building.

Our bright room was a good size with sliding glass doors onto a shared balcony that had wicker chairs. There was no AC but the doors opened for fresh mountain air. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with rain shower head, but lacked toiletries - no hand lotion, no shampoo, no soap bars - just multipurpose squeeze bottles of liquid soap which I dislike were attached to shower and sink walls. The bath towels were on the short side and not fluffy. The in-room bar was locked. The hotel complex was modern but in a country setting - sheep grazed on the grass across the street. I would recommend customers of Insight Vacations to take the company's day excursion to Zakapone and the countryside.

The evening buffet dinner was held in the restaurant building that had lovely carved wood decor on the exterior like one would expect in an alpine region elsewhere. We had a special room for large groups where tables were set casually in long rows. The set-up for the food was awkward being placed on 1 table in a hallway that already was narrow. We had a variety of delicious and plentiful foods ranging from hot broth with ham and veg, chicken breast, stew, roasted veg, roasted potatoes, beet salad, lettuce salad, cold cuts, fruit and jelly cake for dessert. The evening entertainment was interesting in that the 6 performers not only sang and danced, but also explained things about their ethnic dress, musical instruments, and songs. The songs are sung in the hills by shepherds so expect the singing to be loud - the singers say they aren't shouting though. The bagpipe they played was amusing to see while another performed on one of those long pipes. They had other stringed instruments as well. They explained how practical their clothes were for the weather in the area. They explained the customs associated with the folk dances. They danced for us too. I enjoyed the evening, but the room was just a bit crowded.

Breakfast buffet was included in our room rate. It was held in a very nice, spacious upstairs room with lots of selections and foods nicely displayed. There was no egg station, but the cold selections were like gourmet finger food to me - very interesting and tasty. Since our breakfast occurred on a Sunday, perhaps some of the dishes were special for a Sunday buffet/brunch.

Our one night stay at the hotel was very pleasant and a nice contrast to city surroundings.
