Eat Polska Krakow Food & Vodka Tours

Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: The food tour gives you an opportunity to taste fantastic Polish dishes and hear the stories behind them. You will learn why Poles ferment everything, why they somethimes long for food produced in the 70’s, why you can’t trust the invitation „for a cup of coffee.” You will visit 4-5 establishments, so be prepared for a full meal (and a dessert, of course). The tour is daily!

The vodka and food tour in Krakow has been the highlight of our trip. Our guide Halina was amazing and we were so lucky to have her to ourselves for this tour. I honestly didn’t believe I would make it through 8 shots of vodka but we did and they were great! Halina gave us a completely unique experience of polish culture and this tour helped us get a better appreciation for krakow, polish culture, people, food and of course vodka! Also special shout out for all the extra hints and tips sent by Halina after our tour that helped us navigate to some great areas, restaurants and bars over the rest of our trip.

Halina, our tour guide was immensely knowledgeable not just on beer but on the History of the city. We were treated to a wide variety of beer and some lovely (though perhaps not totally authentic!) food and snacks. We were even sent a very comprehensive email the following day with some local phrases and lots of advice on sites to visit. Top notch stuff thanks guys!

Three friends and I did the craft beer tour when we visited Krakow in April this year and I would highly recommend it to anybody visit the city. We got to sample a good variety of 10 beers and 3 different venues, whilst also being treated to a top notch meal and bar sacks.

Our guide Halina was brilliant on the tour, not only in guiding us around the area, but also providing an excellent background into the history of beer in the country and the increasingly popularity of the craft beer movement. She was also incredibly helpful with providing us with recommendations for places to eat and drink for the remainder of our stay, whilst also giving us a few useful phrases to try.

Overal a top notch tour.

Maurycy was our guide for the food tour; starting in Kazimierz and working out way towards Old Town and finishing near "Bagatela Theater them. T. Boya-Żeleńskiego"
So this is not a loop route; it is a long walk. Over the 4 hours there was walking and eating; talking about the traditions of the food that was selected for us; a mix of old traditional serving as well as some modern takes as well..

We really enjoy this tour; for 6 grown mend; this tour definitely filled us up; our one mistake was taking a lunch before hand.. a few of the guys had a meat stick or hotdog a few hours before; but that was our mistake not the tour. Just pointing out a decent breakfast in the morning - skip the lunch and start the tour..Ours started 4pm and finished a little after 8pm

Our guide was clear and had a good sense of humor about him; we had conversations about our own food cultures and he really became a great extension to our group...

Came to Krakow for my birthday with a group of girlfriends. The vodka was accompanied by the history of vodka and paired with food which went well with the type of vodka served. Michal & Halina knew their stuff, spoke excellent English and catered incredibly well for me being vegetarian - not something they are used to in a meat based country! We visited some lovely bars and restaurants. Its a stroll around to the different places which gives you chance to digest the food and vodka - its just the right amount although we finished with several Mr Marshall vodka cocktails (sorry Michal - that was our fault!) A very pleasant evening. Would definately recommend.
