I was in Krakow on business. The Sheraton is located directly across from Wawel Castle. I had a bit of downtime and it was a great way to spend the afternoon. The Hotel featured a wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff was pleasant. Overall experience was positive.

Ideally located, the main Market Square is a few minutes walk. Lots of great cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Tram stop a couple of minutes walk too.
Although Kraków was described to us as 'the city that never sleeps'; it does!! However, if we had wanted nightclubs which there are many, we could have found them, but our trip was to see Foo Fighters at the Tauron Arena, approx 15/20 minute tram ride. Very easy.
The hotel room was massive and my friend and I were expecting 2 single beds ... we got 2 Queen size beds, bonus!! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and very friendly staff. Recommended x

we visited 13-16th November. the room amenities were very good but after thinking I had booked a river view room via opodo ,on arrival we were allocated a city view room.
however the room was very comfortable and the bed was spacious.
the most disappointing thing was that when we enquired, the rooftop bar had been shut that weekend.
as this influenced my decision to book this hotel in the first place , I was very disappointed to find that we could not sit and admire the beautiful view from this point.
they should say on the hotel blurb that this is the case !
overall though very lovely place to visit and I would return to this hotel again.
the breakfast in the hotel is worth splurging out on as is VERY expensive.

Room Tip: ask for a river view when booking.

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your feedback, great to read you enjoyed the stay in overall and that you would gladly pay us another visit.
When it comes to The Roof Top Terrace & Lounge Bar – this is a seasonal venue, when we close it is mainly dependent on the weather conditions.
We are very sorry you could not enjoy it - we truly hope you will return to Sheraton Krakow Hotel, join us in the Lounge Bar on the 5th floor to sip the colorful cocktails admiring the city from the skyline perspective. Looking forward to that very much – until then, safe travels!

Best regards,

Sheraton:
- we are a family with two young children

- We booked for the central location and considering our limited time frame this was the right decision.

- First impression is that it is a very grand hotel. Shiny marble floors impress you on arrival. Grand foyer / atrium very beautiful.

- Check in excellent and fast.

- We upgraded our room for a small fee and it was worth it #447 a beautiful room with lovely corner window with sitting area to view the castle. By night this is especially beautiful.

- Fantastic atrium and great bar.

Room #447
- king bed is the biggest I've ever seen. Room still fit a cot.
- Lovely big bath with overhead shower and quality shampoo and conditioner.
- Pool a comfortable temperature and a really nice calming place to be.
- Gym very well equipped and modern.

I was overcharged at checkout for a breakfast we didn't have but this was quickly rectified.

Employees of note:
Daria at concierge re hire car return: due to the Paris bombings the rest of our trip was cancelled as logistically we were beaten as our Paris leg was to begin the next day. I was redirecting flights and accommodation and also having an impossible battle with the return of our car hire from a previous country to another city than we had planned. Thank goodness Daria was there to help us! Aside from the language barrier, this was a logistical nightmare and Daria quickly understood our needs and within minutes solved our problems and allowed us on our to begin the long multiple flights to get us home. With Daria we may have found ourselves stranded. I hope The Sheraton realise what a capable and intelligent concierge they have.

Concierge Piotre was such a joy! Always smiling and so wonderful with our children! He really helped shuffle our travelling circus from A to B and was incredibly friendly. We will remember him too.

Great location, rooms large (club room, room 307 with view of river and castle) and bed huge.....Breakfast was included and excellent with an amazing choice. Rooms and hotel was clean and modern. Previous reviewers have complained about the noise due the atrium style but that was not our experience, our room was remarkably quiet. My only gripe was the heat, we had the AC on cold the whole time and it was still hot !! The hotel could save a fortune by turning the heating down !!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the river
