The hotel is based in the Jewish quarter and has such a lovely atmosphere. It is ideally located about 15/20 min walk from the Main Square and 15 mins walk from Schindler's Factory. Hotel staff are super friendly and we were impressed with the room and the absolutely huge bed which so comfortable. A couple of places I'd recommend doing or visiting whilst in Krakow are Salt Mines at Wieliczka & of course Auschwitz. As for eating there is a little diner just of the Jewish called Avenue which I highly recommend and a lovely little café called Café Mini.

Small hotel within the Jewish section of Kazimierz in Krakow. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the room on the top floor, nice view of the surroundings. Very, clean, bed was comfortable and the wi-fi was consistent. Breakfast is sufficient, if you run out of anything ask the front desk they will help you.

You will be about a ten minute walk to the center of Krakow and right down the street from the childhood home of Helena Rubenstein (cosmetics founder).

Room Tip: Request a room away from the club.

What a very clean hotel and in a great location. Staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Enjoyed our stay here. When we come back we will be staying here again. Just out side the hotel is some great tour guides. We met a guy called slim and he was great not pushy and told us lots about the area while on our tour and the price was 120 there pounds for 2 tours. The exchange rate is 5 to 1. There is a great little money exchange shop just out side the square. Had a great meal in once upon a time in Kazimierz.

As I write this I am sitting in the dining room of the Hotel Ester...situated in the old Jewish quarter of Krakow.
This was our first visit to Krakow, and to be honest we didn't know what to expect...but we've had an amazing time and that is largely down to this hotel and it's staff.
From the moment we arrived we have received outstanding service. All the staff have been very attentive, courteous and warming. The rooms are lovely and are kept to the character of the building. We received clean towels daily and if you wanted your room cleaned you only had to put your little tag on your door handle.
The food is outstanding and excellent value for money. 30 zloty got you a buffet breakfast, but you also had the choice of a full English, French or of course Polish....each approx 20 zloty. The Hotel Ester is approximately 10 minute walk from Krakows main square.
Finally we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the staff of the Hotel Ester for making our stay in Krakow a wonderful one. Karol, Dominika, Mikolas and all the other wonderful members of the team. Will we be seeing you again....definitely.

Small hotel in the jewish part of Krakow, Kazimierz. Lots of restaurants, bars and pubs nearby. The hotel has aircondition, free wifi in the rooms, good breakfast and a bar\restaurant. The furniture is a bit old. The hotel staff helps you organizing airport transfer, and also transport and tickets for your activities.
