Great hotel, excellent location

Review of Hotel Kossak
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Oct 2024
Just got home from a 10 night stay. Lovely hotel near the castle and river. Easy walking into the old town. Very clean hotel, staff very helpful and they booked us trips to Auschwitz and the salt mines. Breakfast is very good, restaurant a little more limited but excellent, with rooftop views. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Krakow. Value for money in the city was really good. Lots of shops, museums and reatsurants.

Room Tip: Amazing beds! Great breakfast.

I stayed here in August this review is a bit late. But this hotel and the staff are fantastic they go above and beyond to help you. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is lovely and clean. The food at the roof top restaurant is amazing with great views. There's also bike you can hire out at no cost and explore the town. We will definitely be coming back and staying at this hotel.

My partner and I spent 10 nights at this hotel in September. The location is fantastic just across from the Vistula River and Wavel Castle. It is within walking distance of the main square and the Jewish quarter and close to bus and tram stops.
The accommodation is great and the breakfast is superb. We ate twice at the rooftop restaurant which has stunning views.
The staff are all wonderful and those on reception are so helpful. A special thank you to Receptionist Gabriella who went to great lengths to assist us on more than one occasion.
We would also like to point out that the roadworks are just about completed now and pose no problems at all.

Fabulous stay here ;-))))) Check in was smooth and the young lady who was at the front desk (i didn't get her name) was most helpful.
room was at the back of the Hotel, however this didn't matter as we were barely in our room. but it was clean spacious and enough, and the Beds were comfortable. The Bar & Restaurant upstairs was great as the weather was incredible so the views were something else. All of the staff were so very polite and friendly. Highly recommend the Menu as both times we ate here the food was delicious. We will go back here as it was faultless. (worth what we paid for sure)

Room tip: Make suer you eat at the rooftop restaurant 5 *****

Worst experience of my life. Rude receptionist, made a racist comment. They only see you as walking wallets. Not care for guests. I've never had such a bad experience at a hotel. Left with a really bad taste. Old rooms, expensive restaurant.
