Arrived late on a Friday around 7pm and were immediately upgraded to a suite with bathrobes and slippers and tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely huge rooms with stunning views of the castle. Monika was brilliant arranging all the trips and transfers. Well worth the few pennies extra to get picked up door to door for the trips to Auschwitz and salt-mines by minibus. Just E mail the hotel a few days before and they will book the trips for you and you pay on arrival. Ate in the basement restaurant first night then rooftop second night as we were too tired to venture out! Food was delicious. Ate in the rooftop Cafe Oranzeria tonight food gorgeous and views absolutely stunning. You get 10% off the bill as well in the hotel restaurants which is a good deal!

Hotel was spotless, bearing in mind there was building work going on. It's ideally situated, several options for walking into town 10 minutes in either direction. Over the road from the Vistula river with Wawel castle 5 minutes walk. Rooms bright and airy and very peaceful, no noise. Breakfast more than adequate, lots to choose from. Staff friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.

We have just returned from three nights in this fab hotel. Just as described by previous reviews - great choice for breakfast, very comfortable room, excellent staff... The restaurant on the rooftop is a real asset - great food with views of the beautiful old town and river. Didn't like the plastic sheet on the bed (just took it off!) as room is warm. Lovely hot bath after walking for miles each day! Overall we had a very enjoyable break in this great hotel. Thank you!!
