Living in Prague for several months, I've been here no fewer than 10 times. I love this place- the hot apple and hot ginger are great, as is the medovnik (Czech honey cake). The staff is very helpful, and the tea blends delicious. Great value. Beautiful historic house, too!

I highly recommend a stop at this charming little cafe located near Prague Castle. This place is owned by the sister (I think) of children's book author Peter Sis and I think his illustrations were on display. Also some very cute ceramic tea pots and cups for sale. We stopped here on our way down from a visit to the castle and cathedral. Simple menu of teas; a few savory dishes and deserts. Their vegetable couscous is really really really good. Not sure what the spices used are but the result was delicious. Overall a very nice place to take a break. The small courtyard leading to the restrooms is a small hidden gem. Overall a very nice place to take a break and somehow manages to not feel too touristy.

We had some lemonade and a ginger tea here while sitting down and sketching something. Loved the calming atmosphere and the service was very nice. The interior is really nicely decorated, to the taste of an illustrator.
