I highly recommend a stop at this charming little cafe located near Prague Castle. This place is owned by the sister (I think) of children's book author Peter Sis and I think his illustrations were on display. Also some very cute ceramic tea pots and cups for sale. We stopped here on our way down from a visit to the castle and cathedral. Simple menu of teas; a few savory dishes and deserts. Their vegetable couscous is really really really good. Not sure what the spices used are but the result was delicious. Overall a very nice place to take a break. The small courtyard leading to the restrooms is a small hidden gem. Overall a very nice place to take a break and somehow manages to not feel too touristy.

We had some lemonade and a ginger tea here while sitting down and sketching something. Loved the calming atmosphere and the service was very nice. The interior is really nicely decorated, to the taste of an illustrator.

This is a very cute coffee/tea shop by the Prague Castle. We stopped here to warm up a bit and take a quick break. I had the christmas tea which was delish! The cappuccino was also very tasty. There's a lot of character here with small touches so the more time you spend looking, the more things you notice. It's a great place to make a quick stop while out touring the Castle, Kampa Island, and the Lennon Wall.

A relaxing place to stop by after visiting the Prague castle. Great apple strudel and medovnik (honey cake) as well as a great selection of teas or a nice cup of coffee. A tea shop with a home atmosphere that has been run by the sister of Peter Sis for the past 20 or so years. Make sure to check some of Peter Sis' books that are on display. Strongly recommend his "The Wall" for better understanding of what life under communism was like in the city. Make sure to use their restroom as you will go through a hallway gallery of Peter Sis' pictures.
