Firstly, very gracious and helpful staff, willing to give directions, recommendations, and make restaurant reservations. Secondly, the best location for easy access, walking, to all the 5 quarters of Prague. Thirdly, a great suite with large bedroom, king size bed: large sitting room with cooking amenities, refrigerator/minibar, and sink; and very large bathroom with both a deep bathtub, and a separate shower, with lots of space to put toiletries. Fourthly, definitely reserve the airport pickup through the hotel. The driver is very hospitable, explains the route back, and took our luggage up to the room for us.
Finally, Western Union is right next door, with the hotel providing a chit to waive commission fees when changing currencies, and there is a mini-mart next door with all you could want for quick snacks, beer, soft drinks and liquor. Keep in mind you can store all valuables and cash in the safe in your suite.
One caution: you are in a lovely older building, so you must walk up the stairs to get to your suite. There is no elevator, as is true with most other older buildings with character.More
