I like in Prague so often we're going for walks in Vysehrad park...last time we took my sister and her bfriend there, last December...despite the cold evening they loved the place and its historical atmosphere

Visit the cemetary and go inside the 'basilica peter & paul', it is easily worth 30KR. It is stunning but also has a very special feeling and I wanted to stay there all day long.

A short tram or metro ride from city center, you can spend an hour or three visiting the cemetery, touring the old fortifications, or simply watching the river.

This attraction was only 10 minutes walk away from our hotel (Otakar) and was well worth the visit. There were fantastic views from the top of the walls. A restaurant, cafe, toilet facilities, gallery, cathedral and graveyard are all there. The graveyard was the most interesting, with graves belonging to famous Czech poets/writers, and some of the oldest graves in Prague.
