“First visit we stayed a week; the second visit it had to be two!”
Reviewed 30 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

If you want to drop down a gear and 'just be', then this is the place to be. From the moment you look out the window you will be transfixed with the views, until the sun melts into the mountains in the evening. Josie's Cottage wass the perfect home from home for our family of 5 (with dog in tow). After a study of the map of Innishowen on the living room wall, over 2 weeks we unhurriedly made our way rediscovering the breathtaking beaches of Culdaff, Pollen Bay, Kinneagoe Bay, Shroove, Five fingers to name a few. Stunning views at Malin Head, Greencastle, Mamore Gap are etched in our holiday memories to treasure. Everywhere is within reach and Carndonagh a lovely 20 min walk. What's not to like.....thank you again for a wonderful stay x

“A comfortable home In the heart of Ireland's beautiful wild Atlantic Way.”
Reviewed 2 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Sitting on top of a hill with lovely views, this house sleeps 8 comfortably and offers well equipped kitchen, utility room and living space.
It was lovely to experience a peat fire on one of the chillier evenings.
Everything is near to hand, food shops, beaches, national parks and coastline that goes on for ever.

“Idyllic base to enjoy Ireland.”
Reviewed 31 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

A wonderful cottage , comfortable, well furnished and very well equipped , everything works! Absolutely breathtaking views from the lounge ,two of the bedrooms and the generous garden.Peaceful and quiet but not far from the amenities in Cardonagh.Apparently dog friendly but spotlessly clean with no evidence of previous furry visitors. A brilliant base for exploring all that the Inishowen peninsula has to offer. I would highly recommend for families and couples alike .A visit in any season would be a delight. A gem.

“What a Gem.”
Reviewed 31 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

A wonderful spacious cottage set on an idyllic plot of land with far reaching views of mountains and a lake. The sunsets are spectacular and the vast night skies are great for star watching as no light pollution. Fantastic beeches are within a 30 minute drive and the scenery is stunning. Derry airport is a 30 minute drive away.
The cottage is extremely well equipped and has a huge lawn ideal for families.

“Excellent cottage with fantastic views.”
Reviewed 15 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

My girlfriend and I stayed in this lovely cottage in October. The cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Even the oil and electricity are included in the price. You overlook the lovely town of Carndonagh and surrounding hills. The scenery, towns and villages on the Innishowen peninsula are quaint and stunning. Although there is no wifi, you can get it in any of lovely eating places and shops in Carndonagh. A most enjoyable holiday and we hope to return in the near future. Thank you Rosie and Frank.
