Seriously it's a must do if your staying in Currie,the scenery is spectacular, Liz and Michael looked after us enormously, then when we got back from our ride, refreshments and a yummy cheese platter to enjoy and an enjoyable chat, well done guys, we'll b back: )

As a part of our 30th wedding anniversary my husband and I had the absolute pleasure of participating in a magnificent 3 hour trail ride with Mick & Eliza. No matter how beautiful the scenery is ( and it is indeed spectacular!) the real joy of this ride were our guides who show a great love towards their horses and their island paradise. These horses are not riding school hacks, they are treasured members of Mick & Eliza's family.
Mick instilled a confidence in my novice husband and the horses selected were ideally suited to our riding skills. My husband wanted to bring 'Bailey" home.
To be able to meander through beautiful bush which then opens out onto magnificent deserted beach on horseback was the highlight of our all too short stay on K.I.
