We are avid travellers and were excited to stay at this renowned lodge on Brier Island. It was a disapointment. Our room was clean, but small and dated. The entire lodge is dated and in need of updates. We could hear noise from above us and in the hallway. We could hear people flushing the toilets from the adjacent rooms.
The man who received us when we checked in was very friendly, however, the younger blonde woman who was at the desk in the morning, was not very warm or friendly.
There are very food choices at the restaurant if you are vegetarian/vegan, except for fries and one vegetable curry dish. The breakfast menu was entirely meat and dairy based.More
