Three of us had lunch here. The prices were high ($20 for a burger) and the food was terrible. A cheap bun, average filling, chips and burger bun were soggy and both burgers had a hair in them. Not impressed at all.

Took a short drive to Dingo Beach from Airlie..... what a great little place this is. Great little pub with water views, doesn't get much better than this till lunch came out, Fish n Chips with a salad, great meal. Did I mention that on this day the power was out at lunch & the chef whipped this up for us, great work. All the staff were very friendly, heaps of tables & parking what more do you need, just kick back and enjoy the view.

I purchased a bottle of Oyster Bay Chardonnay as a bottle sale takeaway- they charge the same price as purchasing while dining- $30 a bottle is totally outrageous and a rip off. I would hate to think how much they would charge for a carton of beer. Remember to bring your wine with you or drive to Proserpine

Had lunch here last Sunday when visited Dingo Beach. There was live music as well. The bar was busy at that time but wee did not have to wait for long at all for the food to come. Very generous serves.
When we were nearly finish our lunch, a lady came and told us:" It is smoking area. You should not seat here" Just be careful if you have children with you, choose non-smoking area. For us there was not an option because the restaurant was busy and that was the only table left for us at that time.
It is a nice place to chill and relax, hang out with your family and friends.

This iconic pub is under the shade of old trees, albeit currently trimmed back following Tropical Cyclone Debbie.
It is frequented by laid back locals and has a reasonably short menu, but the food is always good
