This place is undergoing major renovation. Unpleasant conditions: Jack hammers and loud noises. The hotel advises guests that it is only undergoing minor repair. That is not true! During the day they tell guests that "you might want to visit other parts of the island". Do not stay here. They misrepresent the work being done. Stay away!!!

Kalapani Beach Resort is a good option if you're looking for budget option. Since it is a beach property you can have enjoy a lot at beach. Though cleanliness in rooms can be improved a bit. Overall it is a good option if you're travelling with your friends.

This is a resort for people who would like to enjoy the nature at its best. it is very raw and basic. If you expect luxury then please do not visit this place.

The owner Prakash and his wife Beena were very kind. Prakash spent some time with us and told us about the local tribes, he took us on a trek on the corals which was very very exciting. They are both very flexible and they say OK to everything.

I highly recommend this place.

Room tip: All rooms are great.

It seems they've got ahead of themselves after a glowing LP review.

Owners and staff don't seem to care. Restaurant only opened when they could be bothered (never during our stay).

Cleanliness of rooms wasn't great, and we've stayed in some very budget places. We had a rat invasion in the middle of the night due to the food left around outside the huts - laughed off by owners.

There are better places to stay nearby l, like Breakwater, that are the same price and nicer.
