The perfect atmosphere in this small and classic bistro. I live in Los Angeles and Estela compare to the best restaurant in California but with reasonable prices. The dinner is a real party in my mouth, the best food and service. Excellent and local king fish ceviche with malanga chips and Bok Choy, Organic grass fed flank steaks tragonoff, Spanish octopus over mash carrots and ginger, Berkshire pork loin with roasted herbs, malt sauce and caponata. Excellent wine list and the best cocktails, Sunset View with cucumber, lime and tequila and the Puntarita with ginger, lime and jalapeño. Thank you Chef Estela, Pouline and Angela for the best dinner in Rincon ❤️

We have been here at least 4 times. The menu changes. Always seems to have some great local farm to table offerings. Excellent service and the best food.

This little place used to be charming and reasonably priced, under the former owners. But now everything is way over priced, and not worth it. We took some friends to dinner, and the tab for four, with two drinks each was north of $250.00 Drinks were OK, but $8.00 apiece, whereas the going rate around here is $3 to $6. We're not New York! So, I can't recommend this place. There are MANY other better choices. Owners, if you're reading this, please adjust your prices!

Thanks for visiting us. I need to clarify that estela did not have previous owners. My husband and I opened estela in July 2015. So it has never had former owners. You complained about pricey drinks. However, if you actually came to our restaurant, you were explained that we don't serve the traditional drinks such as rum and coke. Our cocktail list is very creative and all mixers are natural, including hibiscus, ginger, lime, pineapple, cucumber, grapefruit juice and orange juice. They are 12 ounces drinks and served in crystal glasses. In our restaurant, we don't use soft drinks to prepare covktails. We only used natural sodas prepared by Nelson in Sabana Grande. The cocktail list has all the prices in it. So I wonder why each 4 of you had 2 drinks if you found them to be expensive? Also, I have been to all the restaurants in the Rincon area, and I have paid more the $8 for a drink in various restaurants. And if you have been to New York, you must know that any cocktail starts at a minimum of $12. The prices in our menu ranges from $7 to $16 for appetizers. The $16 appetizer is 3 lamb chops with smashed potatoes and a cilantro sauce. In fact, many of our customers asked for that appetizer as a main entree. As for the main entrees, the prices range from $16 to $34. The $34 entree is a boneless 14 ounces black angus grass fed ribeye. The cost of the grass fed meat is higher than the meat you'll find in other restaurants in Rincon. Obviously, you have to pay for what you get. If you don't appreciate that, estela certainly in not the place for you. Also, we serve local fish caught near the area of Rincón. Your review also states that our food is just average quality. However, you don't even mention anything that you ate at the restaurant and why the food was "just average quality." Fortunately, we have so many reviewers that totally disagree with you.

Friendly and welcoming hostess, great service and terrific server!. We had a fantastic experience at estela last week. This was one of the best restaurant I've ever been to. Tons of variety. Food was unfulfilling portions. Nice character inside restaurant and spacious terrace outside with kitchen view. They even accommodate us for gluten free. Great find and the price was really reasonable for good french food.
