...at least so far. Wonderful, helpful people. They seemed to be constantly alert for anything they could do to help their guests. They offered us help getting luggage up the stairs, gave us restaurant recommendations, which we couldn't use - not their fault - and then they called our room to offer us leftover croissants and pain au chocolat, even though a sign prohibited eating in the rooms. It had a strong Provençal feel to it, and their pride in their region was evident. Other things: plenty of electrical outlets in the room, shaving/makeup mirror, fairly roomy for a hotel in its price range, clean and quiet, a straight shot into Avignon (never, EVER drive inside the city walls, but that's not their fault), ample parking. Only negative we experienced was that the room was hot and we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat down or off. We would stay there for sure if returning to the Avignon area.

Because of a "black" Saturday in France we decided to stay One night longer in the area Avignon... Via booking we found this cosy hotel runned by two super friendly ladies who even booked a amazing resto in the area. We spend the afternoon at the hotel pool outside with the kids ! Room with airco, quite big and very clean !
If you need a extra night(s) just book this hotel

The staff at this place was very helpful and friendly. This place is located 7 minutes from the old town if Avignon (pope's palace, etc). All u have to do is is turn left from the hotel parking lot and drive straight to the old town. This place
also has an outdoor pool, and contrary to one of the comments, the water was clean. There is a laundromat and supermarket accross the street. You can also find an excellent italian restaurant down the street.

Thank you Dominuque and Catherine for your kind welcome and warm hospitality, we initially planned staying one night but stayed a second night in your lovely hotel. We recommend your hotel to any wishing to explore everything around Aignon and the tips Catherine gave us for the rest of our travel were excellent. Thank you.

Perfect location w supermarket so close by and 10 mins drive to Avignon. The pool is a great addition. Many good restaurants around too. Only downside is that the hotel is right off the main road. Could get some traffic noises on and off.

Tip for going to Avignon... You can park at the huge parking by the river (free) and take the free shuttle to Avignon. Save you from expansive parking in the city.
