The food was really good. There is a lot of fish on the menu but also some pasta and kids' menus. The prices are quite high but the view of the ocean is really nice. The service was good.

With an awesome view, super selection of great food and wonderful service, this place is a must if visiting Waiheke.
Definitely worth every penny - thank you for a great lunch!

We had visitors from oversea recently and so took them to this restaurant for dinner one night.
Initially the noise from the bar downstairs was unbearable but lucky the rain came and music stop after about 15 minutes of us 4 sitting down.
We had starters of soup, salt and pepper Calamari and seafood chowder which were okay. Then for the main I ordered fish of the day (snapper) which was't too bad except the vegetable were overcook and it sits on a bed of cheap rice with corn. My partner had Scotch fillet (middle)which had to be sent back as it was completely raw inside and then when it came back the 2nd time the meat was not evenly cook. Our visitors had a rack of lamb (middle)which had to be sent back TWICE as the inside was completely raw and sitting on some blood when he tried to cut it. The other order of Salmon fillet was slightly overcook.
The young waiter tried to argue that it was our fault asking for "middle" rather than to say that the chef got it wrong.
It wasn't a cheap restaurant and we don't mind paying for it if the food is good.
To us the chef that night cooking has no idea how to cook meat at all.
When we went to pay the bill, there wasn't even a courtesy question as to how to find our meals or if we did enjoyed it. She simply present our bill and took our money.
It was a bit embarrassing to have taken our visitors to this restaurant. Had we know we would have gone to the Oyster Inn across the road for our dinner.
We were not impressed with our experience here unfortunately. Will not be in a hurry to return to this place.

We, as larger party including children dined here. The service was relaxed and friendly and the view was beautiful. The children accompanying us were given drawings to colour in and drinks arrived promptly.

The food was very good. Portions generous and I certainly would return.

Our Waiheke rental recommended Vino Vino restaurant in Oneroa overlooking the bay and it was a great balance with a casual vibe, live music and fresh local cuisine. Snapper was their market fish that day and it tasted like it just came off the line. Lots of locals having dinner there which is always a good sign because there are a number of restaurants on the island but this was a stand out and a delicious introduction to dining out Waiheke style.
