We stayed for a week whilst visiting friends who live in the area, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The gite is a converted paper mill – it is unbelievable to think that it was built in 1688! Everything is light, fresh and airy; all the mod cons are there and everything is brand new. It's in a peaceful, rural location and extremely relaxing. We enjoyed walking in the local countryside and an added bonus was the gentle stroll into the village to buy fresh baguettes and croissants from the bakery. The owners were friendly and helpful, recommended lots of things to do and places to eat; and also showed us their newly hatched ducklings! We would highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.
