The first good thing to say is - a friendly staff. Since we arrived at Saturday night, they suggested us to find a parking place in the street, on Sundays, it's free. We found such in a few steps from the hotel.
Our rooms, in the 2nd floor, were quite, but they need renovate, re-furniture. The carpets, the cover of the bed , the curtains were very dirty, full of big spots. Even though, the mattress was satisfied.
The breakfast was nice, buffet style. Tasty food.

The Horus Boutique Hotel is one of the best options if you want to visit Zamora without taking the public transport. It is just in the Plaza del Mercado, closely to the old town and commercial zone.
Very cosy and clean, it has a charming attic room with sloping roof and velux windows where you can sleep WITHOUT noise . They run electrically. The bath room is really BIG and well supplied
You can use the garage and, if you have a motorbike, the price is half
The staff is friendly and the breakfast very varied.

Room Tip: I recommend you the attic rooms

Really enjoyed staying here. Very convenient walk to city centre, which is really marvellous. Service was very friendly and adequate. Parking available beneath the hotel, which is quite a convenience. The building is a very interesting century-old place. Despite its central location a very quiet place.

Hotel Horus Zamora is a unpretentious quality hotel with a solid old fashioned feel. Situated opposite the market a couple of minute's walk from the centre of the old town, the reception and communal areas have an art nouveau feel with plenty of Mucha paintings and fixtures. Our room was huge, more like a suite: extremely comfortable, nothing could be faulted: very quiet, no noise from outside. The hotel restaurant is situated in the atmospheric vaulted cellar area: the menu choice, quality of food and service were first rate: staff very welcoming. Breakfast - a large buffet also served here. Zamora is an understated interesting Spanish City with an extensive beautiful old town filled with more Romanesque churches than anywhere else in Europe, a superb Cathedral and with the mighty River Douro flowing by. A great combination. Easy coach connections to Salamanca (1 hr) and Leon (90 mins) among many others.
Zamora is well worth an extended visit and Hotel Horus Zamora a good place to stay!

Underground car park at the hotel and speedy check in from the lovely receptionist. Our room was on the highest floor with skylights and low ceiling in areas. The room was quite dark because of this. The room was clean and nicely decorated with a spacious bathroom. Beautiful staircase leading down to reception with ornately decorated windows, such an elegant feature. Great walking distance to the cathedral and castle and lots of restaurants to choose from in the main square so we dined out that evening. Breakfast in the morning was delightful with lots of choice.
