Arrived on 1st April. Check in was fast and simple.
Room was fine apart from the 2 single beds instead of the expected double bed. Please clamp/bolt beds together to stop people like "Kev" falling down the gap.
One of the plug sockets, in our room was broken upon arrival but was fixed within 10mins of it being reported.
Roof top pool (floor 10) needs a bit attention and would be a nightmare carrying drinks up from the ground floor bar. 1st floor pool is much better located and well looked after.
There was a very good selection of food, something for everyone. Breakfast was best.
Bar staff seriously overworked but overall, all staff were friendly and very helpful.
Location could be better as surrounding buildings are very run down etc, but within a 5 min walk you are on the beach and the main strip of bars and shops.
All in all would recommend anyone to go there as you certainly get what you pay for.
A fab 5 days with some brilliant people.

Thank you very much for choosing our hotel to be your accommodation choice and taking the time to write a review.
We are happy that you were able to enjoy the variety of food that we serve in our Buffet restaurant and we hope that not only the different buffets, but also the themed areas and the select regional and international cuisine as well as our show cooking stations, where we cook before you were to your liking as well.

On the other hand, we thank you for your very nice compliments for our team of staff here, they do work very hard every day to make sure our guests feel well attended to at all times and definitely are an asset to our hotel. We will certainly relay your praising comments to all of them and we are sure they will be pleased to know their efforts have been appreciated.

Regarding the beds, we are sorry they were not of your liking, we recommend to our guests that when something like this happens they please contact our reception staff immediately so they can provide a solution at the moment.

We arrived late, gone 10.00 pm, but were booked in swiftly, on the 9th floor.
On waking the next morning we found the room to be lovely and clean, with a large balcony (although the railings loose and not safe) with a lovely view across to the sea, as long as you didnt look down to see the shanty town that was just beside the hotel. Breakfast was amazing so much variety. The hotel was spotless, the cleaners must work very hard,our rooms always smelling amazing after they were cleaned. The pools were on the 10th and 1st floor, the one on the top floor was dirty, but the one on the second floor was lovely, even if very small. The hotel is a 5/10 minute walk through streets covered in dog poo - so please be careful !! The beach was very long with lovely sands, but some sort of black stuff was in the sea - looked like bark, but was all over the sand too, very off putting. Going back to hotel, you will see lots of mentions on here about the bar, unfortunately the hotel have taken no notice of these, and it remains atrocious - they have said that they have passed comments onto the relevant place, but the bar staff also work in the restaurant, so there is clearly not enough staff. My friend has just recovered from cancer after having chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and walks with a stick.. after waiting 10 mins at the bar, (not easy for her) a spanish lady joined the queue and screamed at the barmaid, who promptly stopped serving everyone else and served her ! at times the queue was so long it was impossible to get a drink.... maybe if they turned on the cold drinks machines and coffee machines it would take the pressure off ! oh, and on Saturday night by 6pm they had run out of lemondade !! The spainish people holidaying here were extremely rude, pushing and shoving their way around the hotel, never saying please or thankyou, and it was a normal occurence to see them banging on the kitchen doors in the restaurant, and taking the waitress to task over something ! All in all I was really disappointed, the hotel could be really good, but they are clearly cutting corners, we go to Majorca every year, but normally go to Cala Dor, fancied a change, won't be making that mistake again, would definitely not go back here again.

Room Tip: Ninth floor has lovely views, without the noise from the street

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts based on your holiday experience at our hotel.
We are pleased to see that you appreciated our standard of cleanliness. We invest a lot of time and effort to clean and maintain our hotel rooms and facilities as well as to train our team to ensure the highest level of personalized service in order to make this hotel accommodating to our guests.

We are indeed, based in “Playa de Palma”, very close to the city and the airport and many beautiful excursions. Palma de Mallorca has topped a Sunday Times list of "the best places to live" beating destinations across the world with its "picturesque old town", "fancy shops" and "slow-paced charm".

I have also shared your kind feedback with our Food and Beverage Operations Manager regarding the breakfast you had in our restaurant and the variety of choice we have to offer.

We are however really sorry to read you encountered queues at our bar. We honestly try our level best to avoid build ups by offering as an efficient service as possible. We apologise for the congestion you encountered at times.

Regarding some guests behaviour, that is not something that usually happens, we are sorry you saw that happen.
I hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you again on your next visit.

Hotel and staff tried their best but it's like staying in Beirut would not recommend local area to young families air conditioning was blowing out hot air through out the hotel mate lost his key card and went to reception asked for a new card for room and was given one with no checks [room booked in my name not his] saw lots of people buying take aways
In all motto of story is you get what you pay for and again to be fair staff were good rooms clean but area is very poor and disappointing as you will see if you were to take a walk away from hotel along sea front and look back as one of our group said it's like something from call of duty

just come back from a 4 day and 4 night with my friend all inclusive so we where not happy with it when you wanted a drink you had to go down 10 floors from the pool and the food could have be better so will not be back

We hope you have been able to enjoy our excellent location on the Palma beach. A lively area with plenty of restaurants, entertainment venues and shops. In addition, the beach with fine sand and beautiful Mediterranean waters has just a 5 minute walk from our hotel.

Our gastronomic offer is one of our flagships and we are proud of the skill and taste of our chefs, whose goal is to fully satisfy our guests with their culinary variety. It is true that we have to adjust our offer to the competitive proposal of our hotel and we are sorry if this aspect has not been of your complete pleasure.

just come back from a 6 day (5nights) with my partner (we are both early 20's) all inclusive.
Check-in
check in was open from 1400. We arrived at 1100 and asked if there was anywhere to leave our luggage. There is a little luggage store which we used once we showed our reservation and paid the tourist fee (€3.50 each)
Location
The hotel was located down some backstreets with a small supermarket opposite (this had alcohol and snacks in). the beach strip was only a few minutes away with lots of eating places and souvenir shops after about a 10 min walk down the strip. There was a bus stop outside the hotel which took you to Palma centre.
Bedroom
We where on the 8th floor with a view of the Marina. The room was big with 2 single beds as opposed to a double as advertised. The shower was high powered. The TV had no English channels other than the Stocks channels.
Hotel
The hotel was always clean. There was one bar in the ground floor that was always packed with only one bartender working at once. There is a 2 cup maximum on each journey which meant queues where long and slow moving. There was a large selection of alcohol and the beer was always cold.
There was a pool and sun-beds on the roof that was a bit of a small area and a nicer one on the ground floor which was a larger area and I believe a bar which is only open in the high season.
Food
There was a Buffet at every meal with a selection of food, sometimes repetitive but alway warm and stocked well (apart from the last half hour of serving times). The salad bar often looked a bit sad and the deserts were a bit undesirable and lacking in option. The food was all edible but some items did taste cheap.

Overall the hotel was really good, they definitely need to hire more staff for the bar and the entertainment needs a lot of work but for a cheap get away in the sun it hits the nail. The hotel is down as a 3 star which I would say is quite true.
