This is a modern hotel some way out from the centre, but we were only overnighting on our way to Portugal, so were not too worried about where it was - should have tried for somewhere more central. The apartment bedroom was excellent and comfortable and everything worked. Had we been more central, we would probably have looked for restaurants to choose from, but apart from our hotel where we were staying, there was nothing else. So the hotel's restaurant was more a working man's café/restaurant with full of people who were obviously not guests and the place certainly didn't radiate "ambiance". We ended up with chicken and chips which was pretty unappetising.
Breakfast next morning consisted of one piece of toast and one cup of coffee. Where was the "continental breakfasts" that most hotels include in the price? The room cost us 62.66 Euros including breakfast and underground car park and reckons it is worth 3 stars. I reckon it merits none. The next night we stayed in a luxurious 4-star hotel in the Algarve for 66 Euros - what a difference.
