Paola and Melo were excellent hosts and very accommodating, especially since we don't speak much Italian other than a few words. Paola helped us book a boat trip, rent a quad and learn more about the Island (ask her for the Lampedusa book in English). Her breakfasts always had fresh fruit, cereal, breads/pastries/homemade cakes, yoghurts, jams, butter, juice/water/tea/coffees. Each room has two separate entrances (one to the garden and one to the common courtyard/breakfast area). There is a sundeck/patio with loungers and a large umbrella...and it leads just down to the beach in one step. Absolutely beautiful view, but the only downside is that while we were there the tides and winds brought all kinds of gunk (trash, seaweed, etc.) onto the shores and beach...so we didn't get to use that beach/swim while there. On our last day they had cleaned it up (beach folks, not the B&B) and visitors were returning to it. It's about a 15 minute walk into town. Paola will pick-up and drop-off from the airport for free. Definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much for everything Paola and Melo!

Room Tip: Two of the rooms have just the single room with one bed, and I think the other two rooms have 2 smaller bedrooms. Just ask when you book.

Super location, you are sitting on the beach of a very nice secluded little bay. Paola and Melo were really amazing, it took me about 30 seconds to feel at home. If you have any interest in the migrants issue, ask Paola as she has made it her personal thing. I will go back soon

Great location, great people, best place in Lampedusa to stay. A home away from home. Close to airport and village. The beach and porch in front of the house are perfect for relaxing and resting in the sun!

Cala Pisana is located right on a beautiful little cove. Each room is uniquely decorated with local art and your hosts, Paola and Melo are totally simpatico. Paola speaks English. Each room opens onto a common courtyard on one side and onto a terrace/garden area on the other side. It is a great place just to hang out or you can easily walk into town in 10 minutes.

I have been to Lampedusa many times. I know what I am talking about. This is the prefect place to spend your holiday if you are an intelligent, beauty loving, peace seeking person. It's a good spot for families, groups of friends and people travelling alone . You can litteraly touch the sea with your hands from Paola and Melo's terrace, you will have private gardens and a good conversation. Both Paola and Melo are adorable. They will tell you everything you want to know about the island and they love books!
